Easy DIY Easter Egg Tree! Quick and budget-friendly

Make this Easy DIY Easter egg tree or, in Germany, it’s called the Ostereiebaum. This Easter egg tree is such a simple craft for anyone to do. A great craft for kids! It’s quick, budget-friendly, easy and oh so beautiful! You can decorate it with all sorts of Easter ornaments, both bought and handmade.

The branches I used are from my backyard. If you don’t have any branches hanging around you can always purchase some branches at your local craft store. Pussy willow, cherry blossom, magnolia and forsythia will all work well.

I love the farmhouse vase that I found for this project at Target! Though any vase, pitcher or even a metal bucket will do.

I used two bags of pastel egg ornaments from Hobby Lobby. Other years the kids and I made our own ornaments by using Easter themed scrapbook paper, ribbon, a hole puncher for the ribbon to thread through and an egg shaped paper punch.

I also used floral dry foam (like Styrofoam) to keep the branches firmly in place.

Items needed to make the Easy DIY Easter Egg Tree:

• Pitcher/vase/bucket
• Dry foam
• branches
• ornaments
• small knife
• **If you’ll be using a wide mouthed container, you may want to use spagnum moss to use on the foam, around the branches

How to make the Easy DIY Easter Egg Tree:

Once you’ve got everything you need, simply cut the foam to fit your vase using any sharp knife, like a steak knife. Insert the foam into the vase, place the branches into the foam to your liking and decorate! How EASY is that?? SUPER easy!
