Spring is almost here and I can’t even wait! This Easy DIY Spring Carrot Wreath will put you right in the mood for the big defrost.
For one bunch of tulips only: Pull all of the tulip stems straight off of the wire they’re attached to. This will leave you with one bunch of separated flower stems and two bunches of tulips which will remain intact.
Begin working with the separated tulip stems first. Take three tulip stems and form the tip of the carrot. The tulip stems should form a triangle shape. Wire these stems together. Include the burlap ribbon for strength as you wire the stems together, wrapping the ribbon around the stems as you wire.
Continue adding all of the remaining separated tulip stems to the arrangement, keeping in mind the triangular structure of the “carrot”.
Add the second tulip bunch, in tact, to the carrot. Arrange the bunch to your liking and wire in place. Wrap the burlap ribbon around the stems and wire.
Add the third tulip bunch following the same procedure as in Step 4.
Bend two greenery bunches so that half of their sprigs are bent toward the right and the other half is bent toward the left. The third bunch will remain straight.

Wire the greenery to the top of the carrot arrangement, placing the straight bunch in the middle. Wrap the burlap over the greenery and tulip stems.
Use the glue gun to glue the burlap ribbon securely at the back.
Wrap the wired decorative ribbon over the burlap and secure with the glue gun.
Make a bow with the wired ribbon and secure with the glue gun.

I cannot find just orange tulip bunches at my Michael’s so I’m looking online for alternatives. Do you have an estimate as to how many tulips you used for the completed project? I found bunches of 20 on Amazon so I’m wondering how many to order.
